Jennifer at Celebrity Skin Scottsdale is an ANGEL! She literally transformed my skin with two treatments. My skin has gotten better since going there and I plan to continue going! If you're looking for a good place look no further because it's definitely celebrity skin! Give it a try you won't be disappointed!! She is very informative too!I highly recommend booking with either one and you will be satisfied. I wanted to use what she recommended so I just bought new products.I've also had Mary and she is amazing as well! A great energy and overall good vibe. During the first consultation you can bring in the products you use and she will tell you how good or bad they are for your skin. She also recommended a cleanser and moisturizer that would be good for me to use at home which I loved and ended up buying. Jennifer Swink was amazing, she talked me through every step and also explained in depth about my skin, was very accommodating as I am in a wheel chair, and even has her own book about skin which is really good if you're interested in learning more about skin in general. My first visit went great, I got extractions, microdermabrasion, a facial, and a chemical peel. I love celebrity skin! I started going a few years back, I was getting into skin care and I needed some help getting rid of some dark spots, hydration and just some professional help. Just like your face, your body needs tender loving care, too! It should be noted, on average, body chemical peels tend to take a bit longer to slough off than facial peels do (10 to 14 days). Those can be scheduled on an as-needed basis. Celebrity Skin recommends a series of 6 treatments based 3 to 6 weeks apart, depending on the factors mentioned above.īody chemical peels are great just to maintain healthy, smooth and vibrant skin you already have. It will take longer if you have deeper skin concerns (significant sun damage/brown spots/fine lines) or significant acne. Typically people see and feel an improvement in skin texture and tone within one or two treatments. What is your skin tone (light skin, darker skin tone)?.What is the climate you live in? Is it dry, humid, hot or cold? Is it summer or winter?.What condition are you trying to improve (acne, sun damage, brow spots, fine lines, scarring)? Some conditions take longer than others to see results. How severe is the condition you are trying to improve? Example: extreme acne or a few pimples?.Many factors contribute to how fast your skin improves: Acne Body chemical peels can use one type of acid or a combination of acids, including alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA), beta hydroxyl acid (BHA), trichloroacetic acid (TCA), kojic acid and lactic acid derived from naturally occurring compounds found in plants and foods like milk, willow bark and citrus. It also typically has more skin shedding, increasing the likelihood of clogged pores. Skin of Color is more susceptible to acne because it tends to contain more sebaceous glands that are larger and produce more oil.
